:iconlostrhyn:
well hello.

it's been awhile.

yet i'm still not sure that it is fair to say that i've increased talent.
perhaps a string of good luck?

Your way too modest, you always have had talent!
It has been quite a while, I can proudly say I am a completely different person.
:iconlostrhyn:
hahaha. i think i can say the same several times over.

how've you been? and i think you should submit some more recent works.

Not at all, I haven't done much of anything artistic at all lately, that you could see on a computer screen or piece of paper that is.
I have been okay, working towards graduation, I am in a running start program which basically means I am a high school kid, in college, getting high school credits. I'm stressed, but I want really badly to get somewhere.
Speaking of recent works, this past summer I went to Mexico with the Hope for Homes program, you may have heard of it, its a program where you and a group of other people go to run down parts of Mexico and build, furnish, decorate, fill, paint, and generally just make a house for them. I have tons of pictures that are just amazing, not necessarily because they are taken well, but you can really see the hope in this families eyes, its really beautiful.
How have you been?
:iconlostrhyn:
i've been working my way through college down here in birmingham, majoring in philosophy and minoring in creative writing. i'm hoping to go to law school and work non-profit.

while i haven't been doing anything quite on the scale of traveling to mexico, i have been doing some small-time non-profit work down here. i'm working right now to reform the tax preparer certification in alabama so low-income families will have a chance to not be caught up in predatory refund anticipation loans.
